Liberia: Thousands Turn Out to Greet President Sirleaf in Jacob's Town

Thousands of Liberian Muslims thronged the Jacob's Town Mosque, in Paynesville, to greet President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf following Friday prayers, marking the first week of the observance of the holy month of Ramadan.

The President thanked the Muslim Community and citizens in the area for the support demonstrated through the massive turnout. The Liberian leader particularly thanked the leaders of the Muslim Council for the consistency in its support.
