Morocco: HM the King to Preside Over New Religious Lecture On Wednesday

Rabat — HM King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, will preside, on Wednesday at the Ryad palace in Rabat, over a new religious lecture in a series of such lectures held during the holy month of Ramadan, the ministry of Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery announced in a statement.

The lecture will be given by Hassan Chafii, a scholar at the al-Azhar University (Egypt) on "doctrinal rules of Sharia," drawing on the following Quranic verse: "And never will Allah grant to the unbelievers a way (to triumphs) over the believers."

The lecture will be broadcast on the radio and the television at 17:45.
