Kampala — The government has stopped the construction of new health centres to pave way for staffing and rehabilitation of existing ones, Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi said yesterday.
Mr Mbabazi made the revelation while presenting his docket's Shs175.6 billion budget before Parliament's Presidential Affairs Committee. "Until we have staff and enough drugs in the existing ones, there is no need to build others," Mr Mbabazi said but did not state when the halt took effect.
