Eritrea: Idi Semi-Urban Center Registers Impressive Growth

Idi — The semi-urban centre of Idi has registered impressive growth as a result of the putting in place of service-rendering institutions, as well as fish processing and storage facilities.

The Administrator of the Southern Red Sea region, Mr. Ali Mahmoud, called on the inhabitants to strive for scoring still greater accomplishments, besides stepping up agricultural and other economic activities. Meanwhile, the local inhabitants called for the introduction of irrigation farming in their localities.
