Liberia: Govt Vows Crock Down On Gangs

Monrovia — The Liberian Government has vowed that it will not tolerate any act of 'careless disregard to public safety and security by individuals or group of people, especially during these electoral processes.

The repeated warning comes after the Justice Ministry received call over an alleged attack on the home of former Congress for Democratic Change or CDC General Secretary Mr. Eugene Nagbe, who has crossed carpet to the ruling Unity Party or UP. Suspects linked to the attack on the UP campaign man are yet to be identified, but security authorities say the victim's vehicle was destroyed in the process, among others.
