Joy and excitement filled the air when the first batch of relief food donated by peasant farmers in Nakuru and Nyandarua counties arrived in East Pokot.
"I cannot believe it. This load looks like a bumper harvest, which we dream of but never see, the farmers are so kind to us," said 60-year-old Kamama Ualangor after the arrival of the fresh food in Paka location, East Pokot, on Monday.
