Dar es Salaam — The Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has asked the government to allow it to stage next month's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier between the national soccer team, Taifa Stars and Algeria at the National Stadium.
This comes only a day after the national soccer body announced that the September 3 match could take place at the CCM Kirumba Stadium in Mwanza.The TFF information officer, Boniface Wambura, said yesterday that they want the match to take place at the 60,000-seater venue in order to avoid the Confederation of African Football's (Caf) wrath.
