Nigeria: Kwankwaso Seeks Reconciliation With Kano Journalists

Kano — Kano State Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso is seeking a harmonious relationship with journalists in the state. In a letter addressed to the leadership of the Correspondent Chapel of Nigerian Union of Journalists, Kwankwaso pledged to work with members of the Correspondent Chapel and other journalists in the interest of the state.

In a letter signed by the state's Commissioner for Information, Dr. Umar Faruk Jibril, the governor said, "We wish to restate our position that as a government, we are very ready for constructive engagement and to work with the chapel and other media organizations to develop the state and the nation in general."
