The government has directed the Agricultural Finance Corporation to stop the planned sale of farms belonging to farmers who owe AFC more than 2 Billion shillings which had been given out to farmers as loans.
Officials from the Ministry of Agriculture are negotiating with the AFC on how the matter will be handled to save farmers from losing their farms through the sale.
