Zambia: 'Agriculture Vital for Economic Growth'

AGRICULTURE is vital for the development of goals of promoting growth and reducing poverty world over, Bank of Zambia (BOZ) deputy governor in charger of operations Austin Kabwe has said.

Dr Kabwe said agriculture supported the livelihoods of 80 per cent of the African population and provided employment for about 60 percentage of the economically active population.
