Zambia: Muvi TV Crew Case Adjourned

THE Lusaka magistrate yesterday adjourned to September 6 the matter in which suspected MMD cadres are alleged to have beaten and assaulted a MUVI TV crew.

The matter could not take off because the magistrate who was supposed to preside over the matter has a bereavement. This is in a matter in Dainess Nyirenda,a reporter,camera persons Anita Kalwani,and mmanuel Manjimela Kaluba and Driver, Eddie Ntele were allegedly assaulted by the cadres when they went to Nakachenje area in Lusaka West to interview a woman, who was attacked by the same MMD cadres after they earlier encroached on her land.
