Namibia: Doctor Questioned Over Baby's Death

ONE of the doctors charged with unprofessional conduct over the death of a baby during delivery yesterday admitted that he failed to check the mother's blood pressure despite it having been high since she was admitted.

Because he had not checked the blood pressure of Christina Kativa (23) as he was "not alerted to it", Dr Dennis Tauya could not "dwell on that issue" under cross-examination yesterday.
