Ado Ekiti — Ekiti State Government has dissociated itself from activities of some individuals and organizations asking farmers in the state to obtain forms or deposit certain sums of money to secure agricultural loans.
Apparently miffed by information that farmers were being cajoled to part with an undisclosed amount of money to benefit from government agric programmes, the state Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, Dr. Adio Folayan stated that government did not empower anybody to collect money from farmers before benefitting from its people oriented agric programmes.
