Nigeria: Disease-Control Resources Diminish Due to Natural Disasters -- WHO

THE Director-General of the World Health Organisation (WHO) Dr. Margaret Chan, has stated that the spate of natural disasters and political revolution colluding with severe economic crises have reduced the amount of money available globally for disease control.

Dr. Chan stated this at the 61st session of the WHO Regional Committee for Africa, kicked of in Yamoussoukro, Cote d'Ivoire.
