Nigeria: Elechi Miffed by Division in Ebonyi Clan

Abakaliki — Ethnic division and rivalry among the people of Izzi clan, the largest ethnic group in Ebonyi state is posing a serious challenge not only to the development of the clan but the state in general.

Governor Martin Elechi of Ebonyi state made the assertion yesterday when he received the women of Izzi clan that came to celebrate the new yam festival with the governor and his wife Josephine at Government House Lodge Abakaliki.
