Maiduguri and Zaria — Nigeria's former ambassador to Sao Tome and Principe and a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Borno State, Ambassador Sa'idu Pindar, yesterday died in a ghastly motor accident. He was 56.
The accident occurred at Lambar Zango village on the Kaduna-Zaria express road when the ambassador's jeep veered off and ran into a moving trailer.
