Nigeria: UNICAL - ASUU Condemns Students' Demonstration

Calabar — The Academic Staff Union of University (ASUU), University of Calabar (UNICAL) branch has condemned last week's demonstration by the students of the Institution, who protested the alleged killing of two of their colleagues as well as hike in tuition fees.

In a statement issued in Calabar, by Chairman and Secretary of of the Union Dr. James Okpiliya; and Dr. Emmanuel Akpan, respectively, they described the action of the students as unjustified.
