Former Minister of Co-operation and Integration in Africa, Chief Dapo Sarumi, has joined the race for the national secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ahead of the party's national convention in November this year.
In a statement yesterday, Sarumi said he had opted to join the race after deep reflections and the depth of conviction in his perspective that the party this time, more than ever before, needed persons of experience and track records to reposition it and enable it measure up to its stature as the largest party in Africa.
