Nigeria: PDP Allays Fear of Mass Sack of Staff

Abuja — Despite the findings of an audit committee headed by the National Financial Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Tukur Mani, that the party is over staffed, the Acting National Chairman of the Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Abubakar Baraje has allayed fears of mass sack of staff in the national secretariat of the party.

Baraje said he would not allow anybody to be laid off, even as the National Working Committee (NWC) is said to be critically studying a staff audit report currently before it.
