Nigeria: FAAN Renews Fight Against Illegal Airport Users

To avert possible bombing of airport facilities in the face of security threats by terrorist organisations, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has renewed its efforts to clear airport facilities of illegal users, including touts who extort money from passengers.

The authority said this group of people constituted a major threat to airports security, and yesterday issued a warning that all persons without genuine and legal mission to the nation's 22 airports would henceforth be arrested and prosecuted.
