Uganda: Violence High As Patients Resort to Traditional Healers

Patients in central and southern regions have resorted to traditional healers after failing to get adequate treatment and counselling services from health centres police have said.

The Central Region police spokesman, Lameck Kigozi, said the trend has led to increase in violence cases. He said investigations reveal that some mob action, murders and human sacrifice cases originate from health-related issues.
