The Prelate and Moderator of Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, Most Rev. Emele Mba Uka, has charged church leaders at every level of responsibility in Nigeria to avoid "playing politics" and face squarely their divine commission of teaching and preaching the word of God.
He said playing politics, in the Nigerian context, was to say one thing and do the opposite. "This is hypocrisy and it must not be associated with people of God. Let your yes be yes and let your no be no," he said.
