Namibia: Census Wheels in Motion

The wheels are in motion for the Namibian Population and Housing Census which kicked off the nation wide population count on 28 August, and with it have started up the engines of well over 1100 vehicles, to be utilised throughout country in the nation-wide population count.

According to Ester Paulus (PRO National Planning Commission) a budget of around N$51-million was set aside by the Government for the whole transport, fuel and maintenance of the Namibia Population and Housing Census, during a period from 2008 up to 2015.
