Gambia: Janjangbureh Health Centre Receives Donation

Janjangbureh — One Mariama Hydara, a native of Janjangbureh based in Paris, France recently donated an electronic water cooler and electronic kettle to the Janjangbureh Health Centre through her brother Ebou Hydara, at a ceremony held at the health centre grounds in Janjangbureh, Central River Region (CRR).

Speaking at the presentation ceremony on behalf of the governor, the deputy governor of the region, Alhaji Malang Saibo Camara applauded the donor for her philanthropic assistance she is rendering to the health facility. He said government alone cannot do all, adding that such development partners are always welcome to complement government's efforts. He further noted that President Jammeh has good intention for the country and called on the people of CRR to emulate such good gestures to complement the efforts of the leadership of the country.
