Uganda: Heritage Tax Arbitration Proceedings Suspended

Uganda's Tax Appeals Tribunal has suspended a hearing of the tax dispute between the Government and London-listed Heritage Oil in Kampala to allow the parties to proceed with the ongoing arbitration in London, Ugandan officials said Thursday.

The tax appeals tribunal stayed the proceedings earlier this month following an application by Heritage in July, a court official told Dow Jones Newswires.
