Uganda: UNBS Cuts Cost of Certifying Products for Small Companies

The Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) has cut the cost of product certification to encourage small-medium size companies to subscribe to product certification.

UNBS executive director Dr. Terry Kahuma said recently that small-medium companies will now be required to pay sh400,000 from sh800,000 as capital investment each year to have their products certified.
