MSAMBWENI MP Omar Zonga has been ordered to pay more than Sh60,000 monthly to a woman who has sued him for upkeep. The order was issued by Children's Magistrate Irene Ruguru, at the Tonokoka Children's Court, following a successful application by Mwanafuraha Sauti.
The court also ruled that both Zonga and the woman have equal parental responsibility of the child, who was born in 2005, September 1. The MP had earlier in the year been sued for child negligence by Mwanafuraha, who said they bore a child together.
