Kenya: Dangerous Quarries Closed in Mukangu

The government has closed down seven quarries considered risky in Murang'a County. When announcing the closures yesterday, Murang'a East District Commissioner George Natembeya and the area Environment officer Patrick Lekenit said the quarries where risky and could collapse anytime.
