Africa: Ghana Play for Win Against Swaziland

1 September 2011

Ghana midfielder Anthony Annan has declared that they will go all out for victory in this weekend's 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Swaziland on Friday in Accra. Annan, who plays for Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem told Cafonline.com that they are poised for victory to boost their chances of qualification.

"We started training on Monday and we are looking forward to the game. The outcome of the game is very critical to our chances of qualification and we are preparing in that regard. It is very true we beat them 3-0 but that does not mean that they are a weak side. Every team that plays against Ghana redouble their efforts and we expect Swaziland to follow that trend. However, we are determined for victory and we will do our best to achieve our target.
