The Postal Affairs Ministry has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with an Insurance company here or the African Insurance Corporation in an effort to insure the mails. Government said the exercise is the first in the nation's history.
At the signing of the MOU with the CEO/ President of the Insurance Corporation Mr. Collins F. Siafa, Postal Affairs Minister Dr. Frederick Norkeh said the exercise was met to ensure that any missing mail item who be investigated and recovered by the company provided that those items were earlier insured by the government.
