Studies have shown that parents who are in the habit of buying sports or energy drinks for their children are not only ruining their teeth but are also exposing them to fat that could led to obesity .

The drinks contain extra calories that may be contributing to growing obesity because few children do enough exercise to burn them off, a study revealed.
