Employers have been advised to provide a healthy environment free from occupational hazards for their employees. They have again been taught that a healthy work environment also includes the promotion of physical, psychological and social wellbeing of employees.
Dr. Kwesi Amponsah Tawiah , University of Ghana , Business School, the advocate of these ideas , was addressing the Second Symposium on Healthy Workplace Programmes and the launch Occupational Health Safety Policy for Health Workers jointly organized by the Ministry of Health and the Ghana Health Service.
