ZIMBABWE'S largest mortgage lender by assets, Central African Building Society (CABS) says its mortgage lending increased by 485% to US$124,6 million for the year ending June 30 2010 from US$21,3 million.
The mortgages issued were mainly limited to low-cost housing developments, which CABS hopes to maintain until the institution's loan book expands.
