Congo-Kinshasa: The Anglican Church Commits to Take Action Against Sexual Violence

Participation of the Province of the Anglican Church of Congo in the workshop on the church's response to sexual violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)

The Province of the Anglican Church of Congo (PEAC) has actively participated in the two day workshop held 17 to 18 August 2011 at the Pallottin Centre in Goma on the Church's response to the challenge of gender-based sexual violence. Among the 55 people attending, PEAC was represented by 15 participants including four bishops, Bishop Ande, Bishop Bahati, Bishop Bahemuka and Archbishop Isingoma.
