Namibia: Man Wants Jail for a Crime He 'Did Not Commit'

THE orderlies of Swakopmund's Magistrate's Court had to hush a giggling audience on Monday after Gavin Shandejeda (20) pleaded with Magistrate Bernard Tjatjara to find him guilty for a crime he says he did not commit.

Shandejeda is facing charges of attempted rape, assault by threat and common assault of a female friend.
