As President Mwai Kibaki's two terms in office enter home stretch, one of the unfinished businesses in agriculture that will continue to haunt the outgoing government is lack of total commitment in the revival of the pyrethrum sub-sector.
The industry which ten years ago was earning Kenya Sh2 billion per annum through export of pyrethrum extract and other by products, is today struggling to export, and can hardly earn Sh40 million in foreign cash.
