Namibia: Standard's SME Clients Top 3 000

STANDARD Bank Namibia pumped N$155 million into small and medium enterprises in July by approving loans to 200 different clients in the sector.

"Over the last 12 months Standard Bank Namibia (SBN) has extended loans to 3 358 SME clients. This excludes clients that have agricultural businesses as well as clients who borrowed funds in their personal capacity for use in their businesses," Pieré Clarke, head of credit at the bank, said yesterday.
