Nigeria: Gbana Seeks Re-Election as Chairman Speakers' Conference

Jalingo — The Speaker of the Taraba State House of Assembly, Mr. Haruna I. Gbana, is contesting to be re-elected as the Chairman, Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria, in an election that will come up on the 22nd of September, 2011 in Abuja.

According to a statement made available to Daily Trust from the office of the Speaker in Jalingo, Thursday, Gbana is seeking re-election to consolidate the modest achievements his tenure, which is about to elapse, has made.
