West Africa: Bafana Camp Update - 'Bafana Is Expecting a Battle in Niger' - Morgan Gould

Bafana Bafana striker Katlego Mphela is responding well to treatment following a knee injury he sustained at training on Wednesday morning (31 August 2011). Mphela is still undergoing treatment from the squad's medical team and has been advised to rest and not take part in Thursday afternoon's (1 September 2011) training session.

Meanwhile Bafana Bafana defender Morgan Gould says the South Africans are expecting a battle in Niamey when they face Niger in a 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Sunday, 4 September 2011. The match will be played at the General Seyni Kountche Stadium, and kicks off at 15h30 local time in Niger (16h30 South African time).
