Kenya: Kibaki Urges Action On Sale of Illicit Brews

PRESIDENT Kibaki yesterday directed the provincial administrators to deal with the sale and consumption of illicit brews.

Speaking just a day after over 20 people died in Central Kenya over the consumption of toxic brews, Kibaki asked provincial administrators to help stop loss of lives. Speaking at Kabiru-ini grounds in Nyeri during the official opening of this year's Central ASK show, the Head of State said there are laws passed by Parliament to deal with the sale and consumption of alcohol.
