The Nigerian Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (NEITI) has disclosed that it would commence probe into the status of the complaint lodged by a group of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) on the about $4.92billion un-reconciled revenue receipts by the Federal Government, which was noticed in its 2005 audit of Nigeria's oil and gas industry.
NEITI said that it was set to commence a follow-up of the status of the missing revenue receipts supposedly made in favour of the Federal Government by the oil companies operating in the country's oil and gas sector in its bid to set the records straight.
