In light of the teacher strikes, increasing costs of running and keeping schools open and declining school standards, the last few months have seen invoked debate on the state of our education. The debate has been intense.

I thought it crucial to link the way we teach and learn to our politics for the two are hand in hand. Education, like politics, is not value free.
