Liberia: Security Strengthened At Border Points

The Deputy Chief for border patrol at the Bureau of Immigration and Naturalization (BIN), Captain Aaron Kemou has disclosed the beefing–up of Liberia’s borders points ahead of the 2011 October polls.
 Captain Kemou made the revelation during the Ministry of Information regular Thursday Press briefing.
Of the 176 entry points across the country, Captain Kemou disclosed, there have been deployment of immigration officers at 36 border points.

Although there have been some constrains facing the nation’s immigration officers in the discharge of their duties, Captain Kemou revealed, he however assured the Liberian public  that it  should not panic and boasted that there will be full protection of the citizenry and said there was no reason for people to panic.
