Africa: AFC, Afreximbank Sign $320 Million Trade Finance Deal

The Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) said it has signed a $320 million syndicated trade finance facility with the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank).

The corporation said the deal was to finance the importation, processing and refining of crude oil by Societe Ivoirienne de Raffinage (SIR) - Cote d 'Ivoire. A statement from the corporation yesterday, said the deal was its first transaction in Cote d'Ivoire.
