Eritrea: President Returns Home From New York City

President Isaias Afwerki returned home in the afternoon hours today from New York City. It is to be recalled that he left for New York on 17 September to take part in the 66th session of the UN General Assembly.

During his stay, the President conducted extensive discussion on bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest with the UN Secretary General, Mr. Ban Ki-moon, the Presidents of Qatar, Republic of South Sudan, Nigeria, Guinea and Senegal, as well as the Prime Minister of Kuwait, the Foreign Ministers of Italy, Russia, China, Oman and Mauritania, in addition with Ministers and senior officials of other countries.
