Andulo — About 164 hectares of land for construction of 1,000 houses in Andulo district, central Bie province, have been cleared of landmines by the National Institute for Demining "INAD", together with the brigade of engineers of the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA).
During the demining work, sappers disabled and destroyed three anti-personnel mines, two anti-tank devices and 53 unexploded ordinance of various calibres, 35 mortars of 60mm and seven of 80 mm, six RPG-7 missiles, six ZU-23 anti-aircraft machineguns.
