Uganda: Be Relevant, Education Minister Tells Varsity Heads

The Education and Sports Minister Lt. Jessica Alupo, has advised university administrators and lecturers countrywide to offer students quality education for them to be relevant in their communities. "Government has made a big stride in the provision of university education. Universities are now required to provide education which is not only equitably accessible but of high quality and relevant to the life of the beneficiaries and the society they will serve," Ms Alupo said.

Speaking at Busitema University's second graduation ceremony yesterday where 665 students graduated yesterday, Ms Alupo also advised graduates to be nationalistic and patriotic.
