THE appeal hearing that should determine the validity of Namibia's National Assembly election of late 2009 will be stretching into a third day of arguments in the Supreme Court today.
Senior counsel Reinhard Tötemeyer, representing eight political parties that are challenging the conduct and outcome of the election, closed his arguments before five judges of the Supreme Court yesterday by asking the court to declare the election null and void and to set it aside.
