Zambia: Inculcate Culture of Saving Among Farmers, Banks Challenged

COMMERCIAL banks in the Zambia have been urged to inculcate a culture of saving among small-scale farmers to boost growth in the domestic economy.

Kazungula district cooperative and marketing union (KDCMU) manager Muchabila Mwiinga said there was need for banks to ensure that they build confidence and trust among the small scale-farmers so that they can save their money in the banks.
