Ghana: ANLO Education Trust Fund

The Anlo Education Trust Fund (AETF) has launched a scholarship scheme for needy students in its constituent area of Anlo. The Scheme, which targets recipients from the Keta Municipality in its initial roll-out, is intended to help improve the quality of education by providing scholarships to qualified students as well as support to school infrastructure development and resourcing in Anlo.

In a statement issued by the Board Chairman of the Trust, Prof. Victor Gadzekpo, the AETF noted with concern recent media reports of the poor performance of candidates in the last Basic Education Certificate Examinations conducted by the WAEC.
